Plain White T's stopped by 105.1 The Buzz for a pizza party and fun last time they were in Portland. Sheryl sat them down for a chat, where they talked about: working with Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, how Tom almost ended up with Quentin Tarantino for a neighbor, and how "1 2 3 4" didn't turn out exactly the way Tom imagined it when he wrote it. They also played TWO songs in the studio for us: "1 2 3 4" and an awesome cover of "California Dreamin' "

But, it turns out, taking the lead in his own segment forced Ted to emerge from behind his own protective mask of sarcasm and cynicism, exposing the timid coward within. The newly exposed nerve of sincerity was too much for him to bear. So...he brought in his awkward childhood friend to take over the segment. Well, maybe friend is too strong a word....
